First appearing in Swamp Thing, John Constantine became a quick favorite on the dark magic side of DC Comics. Switching to the Vertigo imprint in 1993, Hellblazer went on to be Vertigo's longest continually published title, ending at an impressive 300 issues. Constantine's adventures can also be followed in a cult movie and popular TV series, as well as several appearances on other DC shows, both animated and live action.
