Ryuk is a bored Shinigami looking for some entertainment. What better way than to leave his Death Note, the tool Shinigami use to reap souls, lying in the middle of the street? When it is found by brilliant young Light Yagami, he decides to use the book for righteous purposes without realizing the reprocussions it will have.
