Throughout the past 80 years that Batman has been fighting crime, his logo has gone through a multitude of iterations. From a man in a cape to a bat with sharply pointed wings, it’s almost impossible for someone to not be familiar with the shape used within the Bat.
The particular design on these stud earrings is the most similar to the logo used in the 1989 Batman film directed by Tim Burton. Many are a fan of Michael Keaton’s performance as Batman so many years ago, an even darker portrayal of a superhero who thrives in the dark. The film was so iconic that this version of Batman’s logo is one of the most recognizable of them all.
