On September 8th 1966, a five-year mission to explore strange new worlds was launched on network television. The starship carrying the brave band of cosmic adventurers was named the U.S.S. Enterprise. While the mission was cut short three years, the ship and her crew sailed on into TV history spawning 5 additional television series and 10 major motion pictures that continued Star Trek across 40 incredible years.
Few spacecrafts of fact or fantasy have captured the public's attention like the U.S.S. Enterprise. Although there have been several crafts bearing her name; for legions of fans it is the first, the original U.S.S. Enterprise that will forever represent this most famous of starships.
Many models of this starship have been offered over the years with varying degrees of accuracy. In celebration of Star Trek's 40th Anniversary, Master Replica has released the most accurate model ever offered.
